CARON WHEELER : SWEET BROWN SUGAR

When you hear the melodic words "Back To Life, Back to Reality" it takes you immediately to a moment in music when the foremost music stars of the day were challenging the mass herding of the "cattle" of humanity into the soul slaughter.....and there's that word SOUL.

What about: " I just came over to London to cool out with my man Jazzie B and the Soul 2 Soul posse....my name is Fab 5 Freddy and i've got something to say....." those words meant something to a generation of music lovers worldwide who had it in their dna to manifest unity among the REBEL MUSIC movements of the world.

SOUL II SOUL ♥

25 years later, they are touring the world extensively, and the lead voice, that beautiful voice coming out of that beautiful woman, Caron Wheeler, is stronger than ever. Caron Wheeler is in the tradition of Jamaican immigrants to London who brings all that fusion of African culture to arguably the world's premiere stage of musical hybrid expression, and EXPLODES on the world scene.

There is sooo much more to the story, and sis CARON WHEELER took the time out of her busy schedule to share a few golden moments with us. By popular demand, an audience favorite!! GLOBAL DRUMBEAT airs every Thursday from 2pm-4pm EST
